A man has been shot dead by police in north London.
The man was shot outside an address at Picardy House, Cedar Road, Enfield shortly before 23:50 BST on Sunday, the Met Police said.
Armed police responded to reports that an armed man making threats and in possession of a firearm.
Paramedics pronounced the 43-year-old suspect dead at the scene and a gun was recovered fro the area.
No arrests have been made and there are no other reported injuries.
The incident has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) for investigation.
