McDonald’s has released a video showing how their products are made in an attempt to dispel various myths about their food.

The world’s most famous fast food restaurant employed Mythbusters host Grant Imahara to address a variety of claims about the companies ingredients, and the longevity of their burgers.

During a tour of a Cargill factory, one guide explains that McDonald’s does not use “pink slime”, a controversial meat-based product treated with ammonia or citric acid to kill bacteria, in its burgers, while another dispels the myth that the patties are only made up with beef trimmings and not made up of cows’ lips and eyeballs as some have claimed.
